The food is good when done correctly and the size portions that they are serving since the pandemic has decreased immensely.

The food was awesome, but be very careful the waitress will forget to give you back your credit card. And when you go back to get it, the night manager will tell you "We don't have it".. Never asked who served me or anything just went behind the room and sent a young lady out to tell me "We don't have it". I've showed them the receipt in my pocket and my I.d, nope nothing so I had to call and cancel my credit card. After I cleaned out my car and everything, lesson learned...

Came for breakfast. Ordered plantain omelet....potatoes were cold on mine and my husbands plate. Cuban bread was as hard as a rock. Coffee tastes like nothing. Wont be coming back. Food is horrible.

This is a traditional average priced Cuban place. The service, food and drinks are great. No sitting outside. Nice experience overall.

Amazing authentic Cuban food. Service was also great food took about 15minutes . Ordered the Arroz con pollo, which was off the chain. And unlimited bread too. The steak and onions was also amazing. And try the caldo gallego bean soup and mojitos.

I would give them a zero if I could. 6 credit cards were declined. The manager blamed us. An hour later we had to pay in cash. No apology, no drink or dessert as we waited. Customer service was horrible and the management skills were worse.

Love this location! Havent been in several years since I moved out of state but came for a visit and Mary remembered me! Food and cafe is always delicious.

Stopped in for late lunch, we were not disappointed. Ordered the shrimp/pineapple tostones as an app then the chicken carretero & sauteed chicken breast as our meals. Portions are generous as is the service, we would definitely return to try other menu items.

Food was good, very salty though. Many people ordered take out and only few tables dined in on the day of my visit. The staff was super friendly and allowed our table to chat quite a bit after we were done eating.

Good place to have dinner, asked for a paella cuban style. It was very tasteful and abundant, the staff was always smiling and cordial. I would go back to try some other choices, will see how it goes.

We had a nice time at this restaurant. The service probably was not at the level we expected but I think it because we went there almost at closing. The food and the environment was very good. They have a great variety of Cuban food and the prices are competitive. La Carreta has many locations, but I recommend this one for any occasion.

Mrs. Blogalot is back! Me and hubby on va ca in Miami last week and we saw this busy yet quaint restaurant and decided to try. Food was decent but was disappointed that they didn't have the ox tails I wanted to try. Maybe next time.

This place was great. We hung out at the bar while waiting on our party to arrive. The drinks were great prices, we even ordered a bottle of wine. When we got seated our server was quick, we ordered appetizers and entrees. The portions were huge and delicious. Everybody had a great time there.

The mojitos were very good. The white bean soup was freaking amazing. It had chunks of ham and greens with potatoes sooooo soooo good. The bread was also delicious. Our entrees were banging. I got the yellow rice with chicken, my boyfriend had the steak with onions and white rice with black beans. I will be back it was that good.

Colonial modern decoration. Spacious Restaurant. Very well Located in Miramar Parkway. Food is flavored and has a well designed menu with several variety of dishes. However in general its customer service is not bilingual, is friendly indeed but a part of servant who is suppose to set table is leaving napkins and glass of water every where and not per person. He was rude with a bad attitude when was requested to leave water per seats. I organized the table. In short this restaurant should improve customer service quality as it represents a tradicional Cuban food and culture. Cubans are friendly and also educated being recognized by their instruction among other qualities all over the world.

We met with friends at this restaurant for lunch. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.

Food is outstanding! Don't miss the plantain chips and ask for the leftover ones in a paper bag, they're just as good the next day.We went 3 times in 10 days to share as many dishes as possible during our visit to Florida.Whether chicken, pork or beef, you really can't go wrong, everything is great!Try the 1/2 chicken with yellow rice and sweet plantains. Wow!! Cuban perfection

This is suppose to be chicken vaca frita style but instead what I got was the skin only disgusting, and the yuca you can tell is bad it was red and black. And when I call to complaint since I ordered from doordash he didn’t really care, I guess for it to be a real complaint you will have to be sitting eating at the restaurant.

Excellent place to sit down and have a great Cuban mean in Broward .West Miramar is nice as far as location too. Service was very pleasant the bread runners were too and the food was exquisite

IT'S A NICE PLACE TO EAT, EVEN THOUGH THIS LAST TIME MY FOOD WAS WARM & MY CAFE' CON LECHE WAS WARM. IT USUALLY HOT. I DON'T KNOW WHY IT WASN'T HOT THAT DAY. IF ANYONE KNOWS ME I SENT IT BACK. BUT I REALLY LIKE THEIR FOOD

I ordered the roasted pork and the portions were twice what I could eat. The decor is very tasteful and the music was fitting for a Cuban restaurant. The wait staff were attentive but not over bearing and had tasteful uniforms. The price was reasonable with a great value. I would recommend eating here as couples or larger groups. Definitely a go to place.

Just sit back, enjoy the great food, the buzz in the air, and wonderful time. Good prices, great appetizers, great portions... Cuban coffee and desserts. One of my favorites!
